Josiah Peterson, Founder

Josiah Peterson has spent the last 25 years building things that last: relationships, teams and organizations. He began his career in construction by founding Summit Landscape and Design, a San Antonio-based firm that has grown into a multi-million dollar leader in the Texas landscape industry. With over 60 full-time employees and projects completed across the state, Summit has been a major proving ground for his leadership and visionary mindset.

This experience, combined with deep market insight, led him to form Westwind Investment Group, where he focuses on real estate development with long-term impact. Josiah has built a reputation for clear leadership, financial discipline, and a strong commitment to doing things the right way.

Beyond business, he’s a husband, father, and multi-generational Texan who believes in creating projects that serve real people, strengthen communities, and leave a lasting legacy. His investment approach blends opportunity with stewardship, always with a forward-looking mindset.

Today, Josiah leads Westwind with a clear vision: build quality developments, form meaningful partnerships, and deliver results for investors, families, and the communities they call home.
